As part of its 60th anniversary celebration, the Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna, part of the Tecnológico Nacional de México, has the honor of co-organizing the 27th Mexican Congress on Robotics (COMRob) alongside the Mexican Association of Robotics and Industry A.C. (AMRob).
COMRob is an annual event that brings together students, researchers, and professionals from various branches of robotics to share their significant research, which contributes to the scientific development of Mexico and Latin America.
For over 27 years, AMRob has considered research the foundation of scientific progress, with the following core objectives:
-
To promote robotics in the areas of education, research, technological development, and industrial applications
-
To disseminate advances and results in robotics research and development
-
To serve as a link among members of the robotics community
-
To promote collaboration between academia and the productive sector
In alignment with these objectives, the Mexican Congress on Robotics warmly welcomes the entire scientific community—students, researchers, and professionals—to present their current work and elevate their institutions, demonstrating that high-quality research is being conducted in Mexico that contributes to global technological advancement.
This year marks the 27th edition of the Mexican Congress on Robotics, which will once again be held at the facilities of the Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna on November 12, 13, and 14, 2025, in the Vinculación building. The event will feature four rooms (including one audiovisual room) for simultaneous presentations of accepted works. A multipurpose room will also be available for keynote lectures delivered by internationally renowned researchers.
More than 150 attendees are expected, including students, researchers, and professionals who will present their most relevant research. During the congress, the best student presentation will be recognized with the Dr. Rafael Kelly Award. Additionally, the AMRob Thesis Award will honor the best completed theses at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
It is important to highlight that accepted and top-rated papers written in English during the submission stage will be considered for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
